We launched The Long Table to see what happens when you bring the right people together without the typical barriers of a ticketed event. For our first series, we took over a studio space at Five Four in Salford and invited a mix of our close friends and some of Manchester’s key creatives to meet the team and see the vision first-hand.

The night was built around a three-course menu by guest chef Joe Manson-Evans, designed to be shared while everyone actually got to know each other. It was a simple setup that focused on good food and real conversation, and the success of that evening was the starting point for everything we are building now.

We handled the entire process from the ground up, starting with the creative direction and the physical build of the dining space within the studio. To document the night, we captured everything through a documentary-style film and grainy film photography, focusing on the raw energy of the kitchen and the guests at the table. Once the event ended, the reach continued as our guests shared the experience across their own socials, turning a private dinner into a city-wide conversation.
